The last Friday of this short month and Simone‘s last theme is “indispensable” (oumbärgligt). Next month Erica in Piteå is in charge of choosing the themes:
6th March: My blog place – where, when and how do you blog?
13th March: My dream day – how would the ultimate dream day look like?
20th March: My favourite spot – do you have more than one?
27th March: If you won 10 million [Swedish crowns] – what would you do? What is the absolute first thing you would do?
Back to today’s theme – indispensable… Well, I was thinking back and forth – should I write about what is indispensable for me personally, or what is absolutely necessary in general…
But then I thought of all those photos I took in Sweden a few weeks’ ago and this is my interpretation: SIGNS can be quite indispensable in the communication between people, authorities or companies! Warnings, instructions, information, publicity – signs are everywhere and life would be much more difficult without them or if you don’t understand them.
Old road signs. We were talking about road signs yesterday with one of my brothers-in-law who has a German girlfriend – the first time he drove in Germany he thought that Ausfahrt was a town – a very big town! (it means Exit on the motorway)
Other interpretations of today’s theme: Anki, Anna, Anne, Annika, Cecilia, Christel, Desiree, Emma, Erica, IngaBritt, Jemaya, Jennie, Lena, Leopardia, Lia, Mais-oui, Marianne, Marie, Marina, Marskatten, Mia, Mia D, Millan, Moster Mjölgumpa, Musikanta, Nilla, Petra H, Saltis, Sara, Simone, Sparkling, Strandmamman, Taina, Under Ytan, and Victoria, Västmanländskan.
