So last weekend (actually already Thursday evening) saw the first family visit after little V was born: my sister – V’s aunt / tante / tía / moster Jo (who also blogs here).
Breakfast at Le pain Quotidien after a long awaited appointment at the hairdresser, for me to get my roots done and for my hairdresser to meet little V who just happens to have the same name as her ex! 😉 He slept through the whole thing in his aunt’s arms.
On Sunday we had a huge brunch at the MIM (the Musical Instruments Museum), an all you can eat buffet for 28 EUR including a glass of champagne and free views over Brussels on the 10th floor.
People were sitting outside on the roof top terrace – probably the last chance this year to enjoy the sunshine while eating outdoors!
The MIM building – art nouveau style
I had completely missed the Taschen book shop on Sablon but remedied that with buying the Grimm brothers’ fairy tales for a little someone who will be born in November.
A beautifully illustrated book!
The Grand’ place in Brussels – I can’t even remember if I have been visited it since we moved back to Brussels in April last year!?
V’s first visit to the Grand’ Place in Brussels is tinted in blue – don’t know what has happened to the camera!
We saw 45 colourful Cinquecenti outside the royal palace
I have stolen some photos from my sister, as our small camera seems to have decided that it is time to retire – the colours are strange and most of the photos turn out blurry…
